About Memorial Market Place

A new lease on life for an iconic Belleville building.
Turning the Memorial Arena into the Memorial Market Place.

Memorial Market Place is Belleville’s next lifestyle emporium. It’s a place for the city’s talented creatives, creators and crafters to set up shop on the Front Street strip, in a building that matches their attention to detail and befits their sense of style.

From the exterior masonry and craftsmanship outside to the tasteful and welcoming interiors, everything about Memorial Market Place produces a beautiful backdrop for any brand. It will help bolster Belleville’s burgeoning creative scene, and give local and regional talent a recognizable place to be found.

About the Developers

Ian Wilson
Hilary Murphy

The Memorial Market Place project is brought to you by the brother and sister team of Ian Wilson and Hilary Murphy, born and raised in Belleville, ON. With their business partnership already established as the owners of Taskforce Engineering, a local design-build company, also located in Belleville, the development of the Memorial Market Place seemed to be a natural extension of that partnership.

“We’re excited to be bringing the Memorial Market Place to Belleville, and to infuse a unique kind of creative energy to the Front Street strip.”

Memorial Market Place Land Acknowledgement

We would like to acknowledge that the land on which we gather, work and play is the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Huron-Wendat, Anishnaabek, and Haudenosaunee Peoples and directly adjacent to the Kanien’keha:ka (Mohawk) community of Tyendinaga. We thank the Indigenous peoples who call Bay of Quinte home for sharing this land with us.
